Bring your family and friends and hop on Humphrey Farms’ hayride tour of our historic farm in Pender County. On this informative hayride you have the pleasure of experiencing a working farm including cattle farming, organic agriculture, and sawmilling operations.
While onboard, you will see our cattle and our sweet donkey “Jenny” grazing on some fresh grass. You may even get to see some of the other wildlife that lives on our farm such as wild turkeys taking a stroll, deer, Canadian geese, foxes, rabbits, and squirrels.
You will be traveling along the historic “Old Burgaw Road” that runs through our farm. We will take you by our high tunnel for a peek at what is growing inside. You will then travel to our sawmill where you may get a live sawmill demonstration.
Thereafter we will circle back to the Trading Post where you will hop off and come inside for an ice cream or other refreshment. You may even want to plan your day so you can have a meal onsite at the featured food truck.
