Perla Raw Bar has quickly become one of the go-to spots in Wilmington for a Family-Friendly Sunday Brunch that checks every box, fresh seafood, friendly faces, and a bright, coastal vibe that feels like a little getaway right here in town. We recently went to try out their menu and it was insanely delicious and did someone mention they have complimentary beignets?
Whether you settle into the bright indoor dining room or snag a sunny seat out on the patio like we did, there’s something about the space that makes you instantly relax. The staff are warm and accommodating, and you can tell they genuinely want you to feel at home, which makes a huge difference when you’re dining out with family.
What We Ordered
We went all in! Everything was so good.
We started with the ceviche, which was bright, zesty, and the perfect coastal start to brunch. Then came the Lobster Roll, and let me just say… wow. Buttery, fresh, and paired with truffle fries that everyone at the table was trying to snatch before I could.
My husband ordered the Double Patty Burger which was flavorful, and served with a light chickpea salad that balanced it out perfectly. And of course, we couldn’t resist the Skillet Cornbread, which came out warm, golden, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious.
The girls went straight for their favorite from the Kids Menu – fried shrimp – and loved every bite. And because brunch isn’t complete without something sweet, we finished with the beignets, which were pure perfection. Soft, sugary, and absolutely worth the indulgence.

If you’re someone who leans toward the sweeter side of brunch (or you just want to treat yourself), don’t miss the Banana Bread French Toast — it’s everything you want in a cozy Sunday morning dish.
They also serve up fluffy pancakes that kids (and adults) will love, and for something fun and festive, try the Mimosa Flight, it’s such a great way to sample a few flavors and toast to the weekend.
Spotlight the Kids: Kids Menu + High Chairs
Y’all know I love it when a restaurant thinks about families! Perla has high chair/ booster seats ready to go and a Kids Menu that they actually get excited about for just $10.
Our girls couldn’t get enough of the fried shrimp and fish fingers. They also have plenty of kid-friendly favorites like pancakes, brioche French toast with powdered sugar and syrup, eggs and bacon, cheeseburgers and grilled chicken breasts.
The staff are so accommodating and kind, they didn’t blink an eye when we asked for extra napkins (or ketchup… again 🙃). You can tell families are welcome here, and that makes brunch with little ones so much more enjoyable.
Perla Raw Bar manages to hit that perfect balance, elevated yet approachable, with something on the menu for everyone. You’ll find everything from classic American breakfast plates to fresh local seafood, handhelds, and lighter lunch items.
