Mark your calendars, because the Fire in the Pines Festival is back and it’s this week – October 4, 2025. This FREE, family-friendly event is a favorite in our community and a chance to celebrate our local longleaf pines, enjoy outdoor fun, and make memories together.
If you’re planning to bring the kids, here’s everything you’ll want to know before you go:
Bathrooms + Changing Tables
Yes, there will be changing tables in the bathrooms onsite.
First Aid & Safety Tent
Accidents happen, and the festival is prepared! Thanks to Novant Health, there will be a safety tent onsite offering free Band-Aids and help for any little bumps or scrapes.
Parking – Trolley Service + Stroller Access
Parking is offsite at Lifepoint Church (3534 College Rd. Wilmington, NC), but the festival makes it easy with free trolley rides to the event grounds.

- Stroller-friendly: Families have been able to fit strollers on the trolleys in the past.
- Schedule: Two trolleys will run continuously from 10 AM–4 PM, and a third will be added from 1–4 PM to help cut down on lines. The ride itself is about 5 minutes, though lines can back up during peak times. You can also easily walk to the festival from the church parking lot.
Food & Drinks
Come hungry! Food trucks will start serving between 10 AM–11 AM, depending on their menu. This year’s lineup includes:
- Seoul Sushi
- Well-Fed Ed
- Fusion Fries
- T’geaux Boys
- Made in Venezuela
- Island Squeeze Lemonade
- Sunset Slush
- Leland Brewing

The Fire in the Pines Festival is all about connecting families with nature while enjoying live entertainment, kids’ activities, food, and more. It’s one of those local events where you’ll run into friends, neighbors, and classmates, all while making a few new memories under the longleaf pines.
